Meet the Doctors

Dr. Jamie Cohen is a compassionate and detail-oriented optometrist dedicated to improving her patients’ vision and quality of life through personalized, comprehensive eye care.

A native of Agoura Hills, California, Dr. Cohen earned her Bachelor’s degree in Biology from California State University, Fullerton. Before pursuing optometry, she spent several years working as an optician, giving her a strong foundation in both the clinical and practical aspects of vision care. Inspired by her uncle, who owns two optometry practices in New York, she went on to earn her Doctorate of Optometry from Nova Southeastern University College of Optometry in 2011.

Her extensive clinical training included rotations in Cornea and Contact Lens, Pediatrics, Primary Care, and a LASIK-focused ophthalmology practice, where she gained experience co-managing surgical procedures and treating ocular diseases such as glaucoma, macular degeneration, and diabetic retinopathy.

Dr. Cohen has a special passion for fitting specialty contact lenses, particularly for patients with corneal degenerative diseases and children with progressive myopia. She specializes in myopia management, including orthokeratology, which helps slow the progression of nearsightedness and allows kids to see clearly without daytime glasses or contact lenses.

Today, Dr. Cohen is proud to serve the community where she grew up, offering advanced eye care using the latest diagnostic technology, including high-resolution retinal imaging for early disease detection.

Outside the office, Dr. Cohen enjoys spending time with her family and friends. She shares a unique professional bond with her husband, who is also an optometrist and serves in the United States Air Force Reserves.

Dr. Cohen considers it a privilege to help others see their world more clearly, saying, “I’m so lucky to be doing what I love — helping people SEE.”

Dr. Lilia Bolbolian is a compassionate optometrist dedicated to providing personalized, patient-centered eye care. She believes that clear, comfortable vision is key to overall well-being and strives to enhance each patient’s quality of life through attentive, individualized treatment.

Dr. Bolbolian earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Biopsychology from the University of California, Santa Barbara, and her Doctor of Optometry degree from Western University of Health Sciences, College of Optometry.

During her clinical rotations, she trained at two VA hospitals, where she gained extensive experience managing ocular diseases such as glaucoma and age-related macular degeneration. She also refined her skills in comprehensive eye care and developed a strong interest in managing dry eye conditions. In addition, her training at a low vision center allowed her to help patients optimize their remaining vision to maintain independence in daily activities.

A Los Angeles native, Dr. Bolbolian is fluent in Armenian. Outside the clinic, she enjoys playing tennis, spending quality time with family and friends, and traveling. She believes that a balanced lifestyle fosters empathy, enthusiasm, and a thoughtful approach to patient care.

Dr. Niktabe is dedicated to his profession, taking great pride in helping people see better and enhancing their overall well-being. In his spare time, he enjoys outdoor activities, playing soccer, and exploring great food.

Dr. Niktabe graduated from UCLA with a bachelor's degree of science in Biology. He then obtained his Optometry doctorate from University of Houston, College of Optometry
